The main shareholder and executor of the mega-project is Balkanstroy AD, a leading management and construction company in Bulgaria. The project received government recognition and was granted 1st class investment certificate. The vacation properties and the golf courses are perfectly integrated with the natural surroundings, making the resort a preferred vacation destination. The mission of Pirin Golf & Country Club is to become a desired touristic place in the country and the region that is economically profitable, socially engaged and ensuring sustainable usage of the natural resources in the region. The “residents only” resort features two golf courses, exclusively for the use of our residents and guests of the resort, as well as guests of the hotels Katarino SPA, Perun, Bulgaria and Razlog. The pride of the club is the outstanding 18-hole, Par 72 championship course designed by the winning 2006 Ryder Cup Captain, Ian Woosnam. The second course is named after the surrounding area, i.e. Pirin Pine Course and at the moment features 5 fully constructed holes. It is designed by a young German company. Keen golfers could practice and improve their skills on one of the biggest and most impressive golf academies in Central and Eastern Europe. The academy includes sophisticated video training equipment (Scope, S&M Putt Lab) and is managed by Nikolay Stanew – the only Bulgarian golf professional, certified by the European Professional Golf Association. Undoubtedly, one of the most important buildings for a golf club is the Club House. Special attention is given The Half Way House is situated near the practice areas. It offers the tired players a variety of refreshing drinks and dishes from international cuisine.
